Textiles and Accessories

Jan and Palmer Earley have many years of international home decor experience. Based in Saigon, their Lily Koi line of handmade and hand dyed fabric is inspired by the colours and fabrics of Vietnam. Lily Koi is committed to empowering the women of the Vietnamese ethnic groups through fairtrade and cultural exchange.

Each handcrafted Lily Koi design begins with the fabric.  Jan and Palmer travel constantly to discover fabrics that reflect the soul of Vietnam’s different ethnic groups.

Sourced from local craftsmen in small villages and communes, one-of-a-kind and vintage textiles are hand chosen for their beauty and emotional resonance.  The hemp, cotton, silk and indigo plant are farmed and grown locally.  The materials are dried, spun and woven on local looms.  The fabric is batiked with beeswax, dyed and embroidered, making one-of-a-kind patterns that tell a story.  The Earleys combine these finds with various beautiful new textiles: hand dyed silk velvet, cotton and linen to create beautiful accessories for you and your home.

“We are committed to empowering the women of the Vietnamese ethnic groups through fair trade and cultural exchange… we feel very blessed to work with the amazing craftsmen and beautiful people of Vietnam.”
