5 Blessings Dinner Plates – Set of 4

£ 166.73
by Yuet Tung

An eternity knot in the centre of this dinner plate is surrounded by two rings of stylized bats representing the original 5 blessings. Three rings of stylized Cloud and Thunder pattern, similar to greek key, denote Abundance and New Life. The outer rim of fish scales also represents Abundance. In conjunction with the other symbols, the fish scales express an abundance of blessings.

Each piece in the 5 Blessings collection is decorated with our exclusive design, inspired an original 1930s Yuet Tung pattern. The red dot applied to each plate represents the fireball that the dragon of the original design is chasing.  The intricacy of the original watercolour painted patterns requires the design to be applied to each plate by hand using a silkscreen transfer. The beauty of this modern technique is that the hand painted feel and human touch to each plate is retained.

Product details and care: 10.75″ diameter plate.  Bone china.  Microwave safe.  We recommend that you wash your plates by hand using warm soapy water.
